Pianist Elina Christova is a classical/contemporary pianist with a special interest in Alexander Scriabin, whose complete published piano music she has been busy performing for the past few years.
As a Fulbright scholar she graduated from the Master's and Doctoral Program at Manhattan School of Music in the studio of Dr. Solomon Mikowsky. Elina has taught at Sacred Heart University, Suzuki Music School of Westport, and was recently invited as guest lecturer at Warsaw University.
She was born in Sofia but grew up in Austria, receiving an international music education with studies in Vienna, the Mozarteum, Sofia, Utrecht, Paris and New York. Exploring new music, she has recorded two albums with piano works by living American composers Scott Hiltzik and Marcia Preston.
